Ashley Rae Maika DiPietro (also known as her stage name Ashley Alexandra Dupré) is the woman behind the Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal. Spitzer used a prostitution service called Emperors Club VIP which caused him to resign as governor this past March 12.

Spitzer was arranged to meet a prostitute named Kristen at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington on February 13, 2008. The telephone call was made by Spitzer at Niagara Falls, New York at a press conference at the Shorty’s Bar and Grill on Pine Avenue. Spitzer paid her $4,300. The escort ended up being Dupré.

Dupré is an aspiring musician too. Her music sold a lot of copies but she did not make a lot of money from it. Now Dupré has a new job, columnist at The New York Post. Dupré will be giving tips on sex and dating.

“Take it from me, someone who could have used a little advice in the past — there’s nothing better than learning from someone else’s experiences,” said Dupré. After the jump is the intro video made by Dupré.

Alyssa Milano is a newly wed and she is getting close to turning 37 years old (December 19th). But Milano does not want any gifts. She wants people to donate to charity: water instead. Milano hopes that the cause will help bring safe water to 15 communities, 750 families, and 3,750 people.

“I’m giving up my 37th birthday to hopefully raise $50,000 for clean water projects and sanitation projects in developing nations,” said Milano in an interview with People. “And we’re so close – we’re so close!” Milano already raised close to $50,000 goal and hopes to get it to at least $75,000.

Milano gave props to her Twitter followers for the charity success. “I have almost a half a million followers, so it allows you to reach that many people. What happens that makes Twitter so powerful is even if a fifth of those people get the word out to the people that are following them, you’re really creating this amazing sort of cycle.”

I don’t think that LG Electronics ever expected their LG GD900 mobile phone to double up as a fish tank. But this Chinese guy decided to make it happen using some pet fish tetras. The tetras were placed in the crystal part of the mobile phone and water was squeezed in so that the tetras could survive and swim around. Check out a video demo of the fish getting placed in the phone below and don’t try this at home.

Brad was a frustrated Planet Hollywood customer who decided to express his anger on the hotel’s Facebook Page. Interestingly, Planet Hollywood responded directly to the Facebook Page by sending a gift to Brad. Below is the full story:

“I signed up as a [Facebook] fan of Planet Hollywood in Vegas, hoping I’d see some promotions and stuff. Last week I posted on their wall that we would be checking in on Sunday and were looking forward to it since I hadn’t stayed there since it was the Aladdin.
We checked in Sunday and dropped our stuff then headed out, when we returned (around 11:00) I called down to housekeeping as I couldn’t find an ashtray, they checked and told me there were no ashtrays since it was a non smoking room, she transferred me to the font [sic] desk, who checked and found me a different smoking room.

I was a little angry since there was no apology for the mix up or any offer to move our bags for us, they just told me to come to the check in desk to get my new room key (where I had to wait in line). So I thought that the whole thing was handled badly and the next day commented on the wall post I had put on Planet Hollywood’s wall “Here now, bad customer service wow”

Planet Hollywood responded by dropping off a cart filled with fruits, chocolates, cheeses, crackers and a bottle of wine with a note saying “hope this makes up for the problems, your PH facebook friends.”

Thought it was a great gesture, and a shock to find a company that reads and responds to their Facebook page.”

Failblog.org has a new viral video and it has hit almost 900,000 views in about 6 days. This video features a man who is supposed to jump off a rope swing into the water, but instead he decides against the idea. He ends up hurting himself in the process. Hopefully he recovers from that pain quickly.
