Google Search Goes Hyperlocal With Nearby Feature

Google has added a way to filter and refine searches based on your location. The search engine can automatically refine your location based on the IP address or you can customize the location yourself. To activate the feature, click on the + Show Options button on the top left of a Google search in case your options are hidden. It took me a minute to figure that part out. When the left navigation appears, scroll down to where it says “Nearby” under > All results. You can input the location there. [Google Blog]
