Google has been investing in solutions such as AdSense and DoubleClick Ad Exchange over the last several years to help publishers optimize the servicing of advertisements. Ever since Google acquired DoubleClick in 2008, the combined companies have been developing technologies for online publishers to maximize revenues for their websites. The new DoubleClick For Publishers has integrated new features such as a redesigned user interface, detailed reporting and forecasting data, a new and open public API, and connection to DoubeClick Ad Exchange’s “dynamic allocation” feature. GreenRoad has a device that starts each day with a green light. If the driver swerves a lot or has to brake hard, then the light turns yellow. If the driving gets worse, then the light turns red. On the menus of Denny’s restaurants across the United States, people are being asked to follow their account at www.twitter.com/Dennys. The problem is that this is not an official Denny’s Twitter account. Instead it belongs to a man in Taiwan named Dennys Hsieh. A representative with Denny’s said that the menus were misprinted. Denny’s actually owns the Twitter accounts @DennysAllNightr and DennysGrandSlam. Denny’s should give Dennys access to as many Lumberjack Slams as he wants if he comes to the U.S. [CNET]

The F.C.C. is investigating the FOX game show “Our Little Genius” to find out if they gave potential contestants the answers to the questions. Wow, sounds like a Slumdog Millionaire moment. The parents of one of the children sent a letter to the F.C.C. alleging that a production staff member provided specific answers to about four of the questions. According to Section 508 of the Communications Act of 1934, it is illegal for anyone to give with intent to deceive the viewing or listening public, assistance that will affect the outcome. [NYT]
