Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has acquired DocVerse. DocVerse is a company that has developed software which complements Microsoft Office. Google reportedly paid about $25 million to buy DocVerse. DocVerse’s sharing and collaboration software works within Microsoft Office itself. Current DocVerse users will be able to keep using the service and products as usual, but new sign-ups have been suspend for now.
