Android Market Hits 30,000 Apps

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) CEO Eric Schmidt announced at Mobile World Congress that about 60,000 Android-powered devices are selling per day.  Now the Android Market has about 30,000 applications, free and paid.  The number jumped from 16,000 to 30,000 in three months. [MobileCrunch]
