Quora Raises Funding From Benchmark and Receives $86M Valuation

Quora is a startup founded by former Facebook employees.  Quora has raised a new round of funding, led by Benchmark Capital.  Former Facebook exec Matt Cohler has joined the board of directors at Quora too.  Benchmark’s investment gives Quora an $86 million valuation.  Quora went in private beta on January 4, 2010.  Quora was founded by Adam D’Angelo and Charlie Cheever.
