Google Plans To Hire 500 People In Advertising Divisions

Last year Google had to lay off 500 people in ad sales due to a re-organization. The company plans to hire the same number of people again in positions “from a strategic partner development manager within the Google TV Advertising group to a display sales operations manager, media and platforms at AdX (Google’s exchange).” Google is also looking to hire an inventory analyst for YouTube and an account planner for their automotive division in Detroit. Google is also looking for an associate in the Google Books and News group. [AdWeek]
