About 60% Of Twitter Registered Users Are Outside The U.S.

Twitter lead engineer of the International team Matt Sanford reported on the Twitter blog: “We’re proud to report that over 60% of registered Twitter accounts come from outside the US.” Twitter made their service available in Spanish in November 2009 and there was a 50% boost in sign-ups afterwards.
