Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has acquired Agnilux, a server company. “We’re pleased to welcome the Agnilux team to Google, but we don’t have any additional information to share right now,” stated a Google spokesperson.

Agnilux was founded by several former engineers at PA Semi, a company that Apple acquired in 2008. Some of the employees at Agnilux include CEO Amarjeet Gill, COO Mark Hayer, and engineers Todd Broch and Olaf Johansson.

The employees at Agnilux know about Apple’s iPad and upcoming iPhone processors. Agnilux is rumored to be making efficient processors for servers. [Fortune]
