Server company Media Temple has raised $15 million from a group of investors. The funding was led by Triangle Capital and also includes GMB Mezzanine Capital. Media Temple was founded in 1998.

This is Media Temple’s first round of outside investment and the funding will go towards increasing headcount and for future acquisitions. Media Temple has two data centers, one in California and one in Virginia.

“With the opportunities presented by our new product roadmap, it became clear that now was the time to raise our first round of growth capital,” stated Media Temple CEO Demian Sellfors in a press release.
