The SpeedSpike system is a camera system that work with the assistance of satellites to detect who is speeding. It is currently being tested in London. The system could be used for congestion reduction, speed enforcement, cut speeds outside schools, reduce the need for speed humps, and eliminate “rat-runs.” [Telegraph UK]
