There is a newly-published patent filed by Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) about iTravel, an application that focuses on travel. iTravel would focus on airlines, boats, buses, and trains. Users would be able to make reservations and share information with others about their trip. Through the app, travelers would also be able to check-in, set up car rentals, and check baggage claims.
