Google Android Market Hits 50,000 Apps (Unofficially)

The Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android Market has hit 50,000 applications according to stats by AndroLib.com, not making it official yet. Its only been about a week since the Android Market hit about 38,000 apps. Not a bad growth rate. Google is rapidly catching up to Apple’s 185,000+ apps on the App Store.
