Virtual World For Tweens Woozworld Raises $3 Million

Woozworld is a virtual world made for tweens, similar to Second Life. Woozworld is based in Montreal, Canada and plans to spin off from parent company Tribal Nova.

Investors in Woozworld include Inovia Capital and ID Capital. Woozworld has about 350,000 registered users. Woozworld CEO Eric Brassard said that they plan to use the funding to accelerate market traction. Woozworld currently has about 30 employees. [VentureBeat]
