GM Working With Google On In-Car Applications [RUMOR]

Rumor has it that General Motors is working with Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) on an in-car application system in an effort to compete with Ford’s partnership with Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) for the SYNC program. The turn-by-turn GPS Google Maps system integrated with the Google Android operating system would be built into cars manufactured by General Motors.
