24 Million iPhone 4Gs To Ship This Year [REPORT]

Digitimes Research analyst Ming-Chi Kuo estimates that manufacturing company Foxconn has about 24 million Apple iPhone 4G units ready for shipping in 2010. Foxconn will ship 4.5 million units in the first half and 19.5 million units for the rest of 2010.
Other details about the device are as following.
-The iPhone 4G will adopt IPS (in-plane switching) panels
- FFS (fringe-field switching) technology will be integrated to make reading e-books easier on the device.
- 960×640 resolution
- Arm Cortex A8 processor and 512MB memory module by Samsung — this doubles the memory capacity from the iPhone 3GS. This is necessary for seamless multi-tasking.
- The new iPhone is 33% than previous versions in order to create space for a larger battery.
