Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE:S) CFO Robert Brust acknowledged that the Palm Pre device did not work well for them. Sprint banked a lot on the Palm Pre being successful when they signed an exclusive agreement with Palm from June 2009 to January 2010.

“The Pre didn’t work out as well as we hoped,” said Brust. A major problem was Palm’s actual supply of the device. Brust also said he would love to have the iPhone on their network. [WSJ via InformationWeek]
