Many people are asked how useful the iPad really is. I tell them that if you have enough money to blow lying around, it is definitely worth it. Its a slick device. But these guys found a great use for the device.

These guys are using the iPad to fly a remote controlled blimp. The blimp features an Arduino controller board and some helium. The iPad runs an app to receive a video signal from the blimp and sends controls for the blimp through the accelerometer. The design was created by Breakfast NY as part of Design Week.
