Google Launching Chrome Web App Store

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has announced that they are launching an online Chrome web app store. Some of the apps that will be available right away upon launch includes Pandora, Digg, Lego Star Wars, Tweetdeck, LinkedIn, Plants vs. Zombies, NPR, Bejeweled 2, and Scrabble. The Dark Room image editing software will cost $4.99. The Sports Illustrated web app will have embedded video and will be fully searchable. [Engadget]
