Zynga Acquires Chinese Gaming Company XPD Media

Zynga has acquired Chinese gaming company XPD Media. Part of the deal includes Zynga’s opening of a gaming studio in Beijing. XPD is one of the biggest social gaming companies in China with about 40 employees. XPD CEO Robin Chan is also an angel investor in Twitter and Square. Robin will remain on board with Zynga as the general manager of Asia business operations. [BusinessInsider]
