Lexmark Acquires Perceptive Software For $280 Million In Cash

Lexmark International Inc. has agreed to buy Perceptive Software for $280 million in cash. Perceptive created a content management system that is used by higher education organizations, government agencies, and health care companies. The company expects to close the deal by the second quarter. [BusinessWeek]
