Matias Duarte, the former VP of Human Interface and User Experience at Palm is joining the Google as the User Experience Director for Android. Duarte was responsible for leading the team that designed the Palm webOS. This is a significant departure for Palm, which was recently acquired by Hewlett-Packard.
