In Shenzhen, China, a complete iPad rip off called the iPed has been launched. Shenzhen is the same place where the iPad itself is manufactured at the Foxconn plant. The device says iPed on the user interface screen, but the instructions in the box call it the APad. The iPed is powered by an Intel chip and runs on Android. The iPed costs the equivalent of $105.
