Revision3 has launched a new show called Penn Point that stars the magician, writer, inventor, and illusionist Penn Jillette. Jillette is known for his magic shows that also feature a man named Teller (Penn & Teller).

Payvment is a company that helps people set up retail storefronts on Facebook through a Facebook App. Payvment has raised $1.5 million in Series A funding, led by BlueRun Ventures and several angel investors.

The Obama administration proposed a trust fund of $800 million to pay for the cleaning up of closed GM sites across 14 states. This is in addition to the $50 billion bail-out GM received in government aid.

Stickybits has raised $1.6 million from multiple investors. First Round Capital and Lower Case Capital are two new investors that joined in on Stickybits’ funding. Previous investors that participated in this round include Mitch Kapor and Polaris Venture Partners. Chris Sacca also joined in this round. Stickybits lets you attach photos, videos, text, music, etc. to any barcode.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) announced today that they are now letting Google Apps customers add third-party applications to GMail. “Starting today, third party developers can build Gmail contextual gadgets and distribute them in the Google Apps Marketplace. These gadgets can display information from social networks, business services, web applications and other systems, and users can interact with that data right within Gmail,” stated Google Apps extensions Product Manager Chandrashekar Raghavan.
