The new mobile version of Facebook is a speedy version that works well on cellphones and tablets. 0.facebook.com will not replace Facebook Mobile. It is intended to work well in countries that have slower Internet connections, but have strong cellular networks.

Blip.tv has closed on a $10.1 million third round in funding led by Canaan Partners. Bain Capital also participated in this round of funding. Blip.tv started in 2005 and plans to use the new round of funding to accelerate growth and expand content services. Santa Monica, California based CODA Automotive has raised $58 million in Series C. The funding was provided by Aeris Capital, EDB Investmentes (EDBI); Countyline LLC, Lex Wexner, Thomas F. Steyer, Mac Heller, Miles Rubin, John Bryson and Angeleno Group. CODA has now raised a total of $125 million. The new round of funding will go towards the market entry of their sedan vehicle. Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO) has acquired private design consulting firm Moto Development Group. Moto’s designers and engineers will become a part of Cisco’s consumer product development capabilities. Moto helped design the Cisco Flip Video consumer item. CBS Corporation has signed up the show “$#*! My Dad Says” for the fall season. The show is based on Justin Halpern’s Twitter profile account @shitmydadsays. Other titles that CBS considered was “Shat My Dad Says” and “Bleep My Dad Says.” The show will star Ryan Devlin as the young lead based on Halpern.
