Los Angeles based Titan Gaming has raised $1 million in funding several angel investors. Titan Gaming has created a platform that makes game publishing easier on the web.
On April 20, 2010 an offshore drilling rig belonging to British global enery company BP plc (known as British Petroleum) exploded and sank two days later. This took the lives of 11 people and caused a massive oil spill. The rig was owned by Transocean Ltd., on behalf of BP. BP has been toiling away to correct their mistake.

Facebook and Zynga have made a 5 year partnership to keep Zynga’s games on the social network company’s platform. Recently it was rumored that Zynga was planning to break away from their dependence on Facebook by starting a social network of their own. This was because Facebook was taking too much of a commission from the sales of Zynga’s virtual goods.
Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE:S) CFO Robert Brust acknowledged that the Palm Pre device did not work well for them. Sprint banked a lot on the Palm Pre being successful when they signed an exclusive agreement with Palm from June 2009 to January 2010.
Facebook will soon announce 500 million active users. Based on a growth curve, Facebook is also expected to hit the 600 million user mark by the end of the year. The company is also expected to surpass $1 billion in annual revenue.
The Virtual Zippo Lighter application on the Apple App Store has hit about 10 million users. The application now has virtual lighter skins that can be bought as in-app purchases. Some of the virtual skins include The Who, Kiss, Motor Harley Davidson, etc.
The Palm Pre Plus is now available for sale on AT&T. The device sells for $149 with a two year contract. The Palm Pre Plus is exactly like the original but it works on GSM.
