Boku did not reveal how much funding that they have received, but the company has raised a total of $38 million since they launched last year. Boku is a mobile payments startup company and now Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz will join the Board of Directors. Boku does not require anyone to have a credit card or bank account to make micropayments.

Zeebo users can buy games at a low cost and download them directly to the console. The idea for this console is to be affordable in third world countries. The Acer Stream has just been spotted, which will be powered on the Android 2.1 Eclair. It will have a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3.7″ WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, HSDPA, Bluetooth, and WiFi b/g/n. The phone also has 512MB RAM, 2GB storage, and a microSD slot. The camera has 5 megapixel 720p HD video recording. To connect the phone to the HDTV, there is an HDMI port built in. No word yet on pricing, but the phone cleared the FCC earlier this week, indicating that it will be available in the U.S. [AndroidCommunity]
