MyCityWay has raised $300,000 of a $500,000 seed round. MyCityWay is a local search startup company and the funding is being provided by the NYC Entrepreneurial Fund. An unreleased Motorola Droid Shadow mobile phone was left in a gym and a picture was sent over to Gizmodo. This is the second major photo of a device found in a public place sent to Gizmodo within the last couple months, the first being the 4G iPhone.

MySpace co-founder Tom Anderson has invested in AuctionPoint, an online auction company for commercial real estate. Anderson will provide strategic counseling for AuctionPoint. Before Anderson’s investment, the company received funding from LoopNet, Inc.
