Analyst: If iPhone Lands On Verizon, Apple Will Sell 12 Million Additional Units

Cisco Launches Android Tablet Cius

Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO) has launched a new tablet called the Cius. The Cius is an HD tablet that runs on Android that has full video conferencing, e-mail, and other media capabilities. No word yet on price, but Cisco said to expect the device to ship in 2011. Full press release below:
Bloomberg: Verizon Wireless Will Start Selling The iPhone In January

According to Bloomberg sources, the largest U.S. mobile phone company Verizon Wireless will soon start selling the Apple iPhone for their network. As of right now the iPhone and other Apple products exclusively work on AT&T’s network since June 2007.

Google Chrome To Block Outdated Plug-Ins

Future versions of the Google Chrome web browser will block out-of-date plugins and will help users automatically update them. No word yet on when Google Chrome will add this feature. “Some plug-ins are widely installed but typically not required for today’s Internet experience,” stated Google in a blog post. “For most users, any attempt to instantiate such a plug-in is suspicious and Google Chrome will warn on this condition.” [CNET]
