General Motors Putting $386 Million Into Brazilian Plant

General Motors is investing $386 million into a Brazilian plant to product a new Chevrolet model. The plant is located in Sao Caetano do Sul, Brazil. This announcement arrived shortly after GM announced that they are investing $780 million into its Brazil operations for producing two new models. GM sold over 595,000 vehicles in Brazil last year, which gives them a 19% market share in the South American country. [Detroit News]
