Facebook is testing a custom, new News Feed for users that have a few friends.  Above is a screenshot of what it looks like.  You will notice that the modal news feed is missing and there are popular photo album shots and their associated interactions highlighted at the top.  “This is a test we’re running to a small percentage of users who have very few friends on Facebook. This is simply to help them discover interesting content and create an instantly valuable experience for them,” said a Facebook rep. [BusinessInsider]
