Today the U.S. soccer team beat Algeria 1-0, advancing them to the next round at FIFA. The servers at Twitter were flooded by the response.  Twitter has been unstable for the last few weeks, but the engineering team there said that it would be “a rocky few weeks” as the company is increasing their infrastructure.
