Facebook Hires White House Economic Advisor Marne Levine

Facebook has hired White House economic adviser Marne Levine as their global policy head. Levine used to work as the chief of staff at the National Economic Council.

Levine will oversee Facebook’s interaction with governments and non-government organizations across the globe. Levine will continue to work in Washington D.C. and will help build Facebook’s policy teams in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Levine’s previous responsibilities at The White House is to coordinate the development of domestic and international and economic policy.
