HTC EVO 4G Now Available For Sale

The HTC EVO 4G is now available for sale at Sprint.com, Sprint Stores, Radio Shack, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart at a price of $199.99 with two year contract and a $100 mail in rebate. The HTC EVO 4G is powered by Android 2.1 and has a dual-mode 3G/4G connection. The phone processor is a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. Other features include 8 megapixel camera, WiFi, front/rear cameras, 4.3″ display. Two way video chat is made possible through Qik Video at a price of $4.99 per month. New iPhone To Be Available In Stores On June 20th? [RUMOR]

I have heard from a source that Apple will start selling the new iPhone (currently known as the iPhone HD or iPhone 4G) in stores on June 20th. As we all know, Steve Jobs will be speaking at the WWDC event on June 7th. Supposedly AT&T employees have also been told to expect working longer hours on that day to cope with the demand. If anyone else has info about the release date, let us know in the comments.
Miso Raises Seed Funding From Google Ventures

Bazaar Labs, the company behind the Miso iPhone application has just announced that they have raised funding from Google Ventures. Miso allows users to share what movies and TV shows they are watching in a fashion that is similar to Foursquare.

Sonic Solutions Acquires DivX In $323 Million Deal

Sonic Solutions has acquired digital media company DivX for $323 million as part of a cash and stock deal. This deal puts DivX’s stock at about a $9.83 per share worth. This is a 41% premium over Tuesday’s closing price at $6.95. DivX is known for their codec software, which allows videos to be viewed across different players. DivX earns most of its revenue from licensing technology to OEMs. [paidContent]
AT&T Launches New Wireless Data Plans

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) has introduced new wireless data plans that makes it more affordable. There is now a $15 per month plan and a $25 per month plan with 10 times more data. Each of these plans offer access to AT&T WiFi Hot Spots too. These new plans will start on June 7th — current AT&T customers have the option of switching their existing plans without extending contracts. BlackBerry Bold 9650 Now Available On Verizon

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 will be available on Verizon Wireless starting June 3rd online. It will be available in Verizon stores on June 10th. The cost is $149.99 with a two year contract and a $100 MIR. The Bold 9650 is the first device to support the Verizon GlobalAccess Connect service, which lets you use the smartphone as a tethering device. iPad Being Used To Interact With Merlin The Dolphin

Jack Kassewitz of SpeakDolphin submitted a press release about a dolphin named Merlin that can interact with an iPad.
“The use of the iPad is part of our continuing search to find a suitable touch screen technology which the dolphins can activate with the tip of their rostrums or beaks. After extensive searching and product review, it looks like our choice is between the Panasonic Toughbook and the Apple iPad,” said Kassewitz. “We think that once the dolphins get the hang of the touch screen, we can let them choose from a wide assortment of symbols to represent objects, actions and even emotions.”

Google Buys Invite Media For $70 Million Range

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has acquired adverting technology company Invite Media for a price that is around the $70 million range. Invite Media is a three year old company that was designed to help buyers find display-advertising exchanges.
