Android Helps HTC Sales Increase 63% In Q2

HTC has just posted their financial figures for the second quarter. HTC’s revenues increased 63% for the second quarter over the past year. HTC is the largest Android manufacturing company. Some of the phones that HTC manufactures using Android includes the EVO 4G, the Nexus One, the Droid Incredible, the HTC Dream, the HTC Magic, and the HTC Hero.

HTC made the equivalent of $1.88 billion with $268 million in profit for the quarter after taxes. About 160,000 new Android-based mobile phones are being activated daily. [jkontherun]
