Nokia Asks Police To Get N8 Phone Back From

What does Nokia and Apple have in common? Both companies sent police to go after a blogger to get prototype phones back? A prototype Apple iPhone was left in a bar and a blogger bought it from the guy that found it there. Apple sent the cops after the Gizmodo editor to get the prototype back. Now the same thing is happening with Nokia after editor-in-chief Eldar Murtazin posted a detailed review of the Nokia N8.

“Several weeks back, we have formally requested the return of all unauthorized Nokia property from Mr. Murtazin and he declined to respond,” stated Nokia spokesman Doug Dawson. “As a result, we have contacted the Russian authorities to assist us in the return of all unauthorized Nokia property.”

Murtazin claimed that he attempted to contact Nokia over the past two months, but never heard back. “Nokia says there has been a trade secret infringement,” said Murtazin on his blog. “But we have never signed any non- disclosure agreements with them and Nokia knows that very well.”
