TweetDeck Hits 15 Million Downloads

TweetDeck founder Iain Dodsworth has announced on the company blog that they have hit 15 million downloads. The company now employs 15 people in London, New York, and France. TweetDeck also raised $3.5 million in funding.

Other milestones include their iPhone app hitting 2.5 million downloads and their servers syncing over 7 million Twitter search columns. About 25,000 search columns are being added per day. Through TweetDeck 4 million tweets, Facebook status updates, and Google Buzz statuses are being sent out per day.
