Intel Brings In $2.9 Billion Profit In Best Quarter Ever

Intel has just reported their best quarter ever with a $2.9 billion profit based on $10.8 billion revenue. This is an increase of $445 million in profit from last quarter and $3.3 billion from last year. This record breaking quarter was driven by increases in laptop and server chip sales. The Atom processor revenue had a 16% increase. [Engadget]
