Apple has began to develop the new 11.6-inch MacBook Air and the next generation iPod Touch. The new Macbook is expected to have an even slimmer design with a 11.6 inch-display and will contain features such as an Intel Core i-series ultra-low voltage processor. Although they are anticipated to do well in the market, Apple is only expected to release 400,000 units of the MacBook Air sometime in the second half of 2010. The next generation iPod Touch will contain have a 3-megapixel camera, which will be capable of both photo and video recordings. There may also be other newer features, including a “non-phone” version of Apple’s FaceTime. The iPod touch is expected to be released sometime in August or September and Apple is expected to produce 17-18 million units of the new device. [DigiTimes]
