Music service recommendation and social service Pandora.com has hit 60 million registered users.  In April Pandora had 50 million users and in they had 40 million December.  Before these numbers, it took all of 2009 for Pandora to go from 20 million to 40 million users.

Pandora has one of the most popular music mobile applications too.  Pandora has applications for Android, the iPhone, and other devices.  Another reason why Pandora’s popularity boosted on the iPhone is because it has the ability to play music in the background.
Pandora has thousands of songs in their database from across 90,000 artists.  About 80% of those artists are played every month.
