Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) discussed thei eight core business at the Financial Analyst Meeting (FAM) in Redmond on July 29.

According to ZDNet, Microsoft’s eight core focus areas are:

Xbox and TV
Bing
Office
Windows Server
Windows Phone
Windows
Business users
SQL Server

The “enablers” of the eight core focuses are:

Stores and marketplaces
Services and support
MSN
Mice/keyboards
Mediaroom (IPTV)
Visual Tools
Windows Live
Dynamics (CRM and ERP)

Microsoft COO Kevin Turner said that they will continue to push Windows 7 and Office 2010 this year. And he also said to expect a public beta of Internet Explorer 9 in September 2010.
