IPs Linked To Major Corporations Downloaded Leaked Facebook Profile Pages Torrent

There is a 2.8GB torrent file floating around on several torrent websites that contains public profile information from Facebook. Ron Bowes of Skull Security created a Facebook crawler that pulled everything from Facebook’s open access directory.

Even more interesting is that the IP addresses of major corporations were spotted downloading the file. Using the Peer Block software, a Gizmodo reader checked the IP addresses of companies and organizations that were downloading the file. Before you read the list of companies that downloaded the file, keep in mind that the download might not have been authorized by executives at these companies. Below is a list of the companies:
