Popular instant messaging service Trillian is developing an application for the Android operating system. Trillian for Android will be able to connect to Facebook Chat, Windows Live, Yahoo!, AIM, ICQ, Google Talk, Jabber/XMPP, and MySpaceIM. You can also sync contacts, avatars, status messages, and accounts from your desktop. Another nifty feature is tabbed chat windows with bubble view with emoticon support and photo transfer. This past Sunday around 10PM, a family in Victoria, Australia were driving but ended up getting in a car crash in order to avoid hitting a kangaroo. There was 5 people in the car: three children, their mother, and her partner. The mother was stranded in the wreck until her 7 year old son calmly used his Nintendo DS as a light to find his mother’s mobile phone to call emergency services.
