Ustream has provided the Ultimate Fighting Championship with the IP addresses of users that is broadcasting the pay-per-view events on their streaming video website. Zuffa LLC, the UFC parent company sent a subpoena to Ustream and Justin.tv.

“Ustream was subpoenaed by UFC via Zuffa earlier this year to provide identifiable information on certain broadcasters, which Ustream fully complied with in a timely manner. Ustream continues to work cohesively with our premium content partners to prevent piracy, including UFC to legally stream officially-sanctioned UFC events,” said Usteam in a message to NewTeeVee.

The event was watched by 78,000 non-paying users said Zuffa. That same user broadcasted another UFC event a few months earlier that was watched by 36,000 people. Zuffa plans to go after users that stream their matches with lawsuits.
