Mobile applications are playing a major role in most big companies today. If you don’t believe me, then just ask Pizza Hut. According to Pizza Hut CMO Brian Niccol, “[In the future, I see mobile] accounting for almost 50 percent of our orders.”

For competitive reasons, Pizza Hut cannot reveal current mobile order numbers. Pizza Hut has offered customers the option to pay through SMS, mobile website, and iPhone application since last year. Pizza Hut plans to release an iPad and Android app soon.
