Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has acquired SocialDeck. SocialDeck is a mobile game development company that is located in Waterloo, Ontario. SocialDeck’s popular games Shake & Spell, Color Connect, and Pet Hero has been downloaded close to about one million times in 2009.

SocialDeck also has a product called Spark that connects game players across Facebook, the iPhone, and BlackBerry. Google has been on the verge of competing intensely in the social space. Recently Google acquired a social gaming company called Slide and a social event export company called Angstro. SocialDeck raised $250,000 from the BlackBerry Fund in 2009. But there is no word on how much the company sold for.
