Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has announced that they have hit the 300 million download mark for iTunes U. It took about three years to hit this mark. About 800 universities have iTunes U websites. Half of that number of universities distribute content on iTunes too.

Comsenz is best known for their Discuz discussion board platform and Tencent is well known for their IM service QQ. Google invested $1 million in Comsenz 2 years ago. Comsenz isn’t the only Chinese Internet company Google has invested in. Google also has equity in Xunlei and Top100. Comsenz will now operate as a Tencent subsidiary and will run independently.
