RIM Working With BMW and U.S. Army On Tablet Project

Research In Motion Limited (NASDAQ:RIMM) is working with BMW and the Army to develop a new tablet computer. RIM is working with BMW on the audio system and is using technology from the Army Crusher tank. RIM wants to really make their tablet computer stand out.

Intel Acquires Anti-Virus Company McAfee For $7.68 Billion

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) has decided to acquire McAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE) for $7.68 billion in cash. Intel is paying $48 per share to buy out McAfee.

Pizza Hut CMO: Half Of Pizza Hut Orders Will Come Through A Mobile Device

Mobile applications are playing a major role in most big companies today. If you don’t believe me, then just ask Pizza Hut. According to Pizza Hut CMO Brian Niccol, “[In the future, I see mobile] accounting for almost 50 percent of our orders.”

T-Mobile Creates Launch Page For G2 Smartphone

T-Mobile, Google, and HTC are all working together on the T-Mobile G2. This is the first phone that will be built on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network. The HSPA+ network brings 4G-like speeds to T-Mobile’s 3G network. The T-Mobile G2 website currently has a sign-up for for receiving G2 information. The new phone is expected to be released in the next few weeks.

Dr. Frank Ryan Was Tweeting and Driving, Causing Fatal Crash

Dr. Frank Ryan was a plastic surgeon with an office in Beverly Hills, California and who lived in Malibu. Dr. Ryan was sending a message on Twitter about his border collie dog right before he had a fatal car accident according to his ex-girlfriend Charmaine Blake.

One Fourth Of Investors Disapprove of Michael Dell’s Board Position

Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) shareholders recently voted for their support of CEO and company founder Michael Dell. Unfortunately, one fourth of investors withheld the support of Michael Dell. About 378 million of the 1.5 billion votes opposed against Michael Dell’s position on the board.
