Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) shareholders recently voted for their support of CEO and company founder Michael Dell. Unfortunately, one fourth of investors withheld the support of Michael Dell. About 378 million of the 1.5 billion votes opposed against Michael Dell’s position on the board.

Here’s an interesting rumor: Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) is planning to launch a Chrome operating system tablet on November 26 through Verizon. If true, HTC will be manufacturing the device. It is not surprising that Google has picked Verizon as their partner, especially after working with them on a Net Neutrality proposal. A Mister Softee truck pulled up to his normal spot on West 60th and Broadway in New York City only to find a competitor was already there. The Mister Softee driver was furious and NSFW words were exchanged. It turns out that words turned into violence and the video that was recording the whole time turned into a viral YouTube video. Apparently this wasn’t the first time that a Mister Softee fighter caused a fight. About 12-13 days ago, a Mister Softee driver instigated a fight that took place at 50th Street and 6th Avenue. Social gaming company Zynga has acquired Conduit Labs, a Boston based gaming company that raised about $8.5 million in funding from Charles River ventures and Prism VentureWorks. Conduit Labs will be now known as Zynga Boston and they will focus on product development there. Conduit Labs started in 2007. [TechCrunch]

Tweetmeme has been on a roll lately. Not only have they partnered with Twitter this month on a new Twitter retweet button, but they have also announced a new search engine product called Datasift.

Nielsen, the TV and consumer habit measurement company is planning to raise $2.01 billion through an IPO that they are planning. Originally the company was planning to raise $1.75 billion through the IPO.
