Google has been saying for a while that they plan to make YouTube profitable. Earlier there were reports that YouTube costs $2 million per day to keep running. Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) CEO Eric Schmidt was heard talking on the sidelines of a conference at French university SciencesPo: “YouTube is ‘nearing profitability and its revenue is doing quite well.” [AllThingsD]
